Okay, cancelling and returning time. This stuff is really important so we’re putting our serious heads on for a bit. Here goes:
You’re entitled to cancel your order or contract with us provided you do so within 14 days of delivery. You can cancel your order by emailing email@example.com, calling 01756 702410 or writing to Customer Service by post to Micralite Limited, Micklethorn, Broughton, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 3JA.
If you want to write or email, you can do so using our model cancellation form here. This won’t affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty products. (See below for more information on this.)
If no goods have been dispatched, we’ll provide a full refund within seven working days of receiving your notice of cancellation. The refund will include any shipping charges you’ve paid for. If the goods have been dispatched, please return them in an unused condition, in the original packaging and complete with all original parts and accessories. We’ll refund the cost of the item and the per-item delivery charges, except for supplementary costs arising if you choose a delivery method other than our standard and least expensive method.
All items will be collected by the Micralite-nominated carrier.
We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by yourself. We will make any refund as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of cancellation. If we refund you the price paid before we’re able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, we’ll ask you to pay an appropriate amount as recompense.
If you don’t return the goods delivered to you, we’ll be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
Phew. That got a bit heavy in places. But don’t worry, our Customer Care Team is available on 01756 702410 between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) to chat anything through. We just ask that you have your original order number available to quote when calling as your proof of purchase.
Lastly, if you bought from a third-party retailer, please contact them should you wish to return your product. We’re sure their Customer Team are nearly as nice and awesome as ours.
